IMPETUS junior research group launched

On September 1, 2021, the BMBF-funded junior research group IMPETUS started in MIKI. The junior research group aims to expand knowledge management and in particular the HiGHmed platform developed in HiGHmed for alphanumeric data to include multimedia data and objects. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Björn Schreiweis, the platform will be expanded accordingly to be able to integrate, store, and analyze both DICOM and non-DICOM data. It should also be possible to apply for and use the data later via the processes of the Medical Informatics Initiative. The duration of the junior research group is 5 years.
