KULT-SH project receives the National Telemedicine Award 2024

The University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) is proud to announce that its innovative KULT-SH project has been awarded the National Telemedicine Prize 2024. This prize is awarded by the German Society for Telemedicine e.V. and recognizes innovative projects that make an outstanding contribution to telemedicine and the improvement of healthcare.

“This award recognizes our commitment to modern, interoperable healthcare solutions that focus on integrated IT solution packages rather than individual components. This motivates us to continue breaking new ground in the standardized integration of different healthcare telematics components as a solution to many problems in the healthcare sector. KULT SH is an exemplary practical example of how this can be achieved,” says Professor Björn Bergh, Director of the Institute of Medical Informatics and Statistics (IMIS) and Head of the Medical Informatics Section as well as Chief Digital Officer of the UKSH, responsible for the technical concept and implementation of the IT infrastructure.
