The Department for Medical Informatics as part of the Institute for Medical Informatics and Statistics of Kiel University and University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (Head: Prof. Dr. Björn Bergh) works in the field of applied science and teaching in close cooperation with medical departments as well as external partners in science and industry. We are focusing on the use and usability of technology for healthcare professionals, patients, citizens and other researchers.
