Aim of the BMBF funded project MITASSIST is to develop new methods treating psychic diseases in every day life.
Core of this method is a lower arm cuff equipped with sensors that detect typical pathological behavior of the patient like inactivity of depressive patients.
In that case the cuff shall send impulses in order to activate the patient to change his behavior.
Task of University Hospital Heidelberg, Department Medical Information Systems, is to draft data model and storage concepts and to link mitassist applications to PEPA of Heidelberg University Hospital.
