Knowledge Management of Data and Objects in Medicine – Level 1

Developing and implementing a knowledge platform which integrates data from several clinical IT systems, respects data privacy and makes them available for physicians and researchers at University Hospital Heidelberg.

First, the required infrastructure is built. In level 1 data from the Clinical Information System (SAP IS-H/Cerner i.s.h.med) and Cancer Registry (Agfa Orbis) are loaded into the platform. Data is integrated using the Patient ID.

Afterwards, WISDOM is expanded in several projects concerning data and functionality. In the long term a platform allowing users to answer patient-centered questions and questions across patients.
