Starting from September 1st 2018 University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) jointly with Kiel University is joining the HiGHmed consortium as new partner. As part of the appointment of Björn Bergh as Professor for Medical Informatics to Kiel University the Department for Medical Informatics was founded at Insititute for Medical Informatics and Statistics on April 1st 2018.
